    One-to-One Tutoring

One-to-One Tutoring provides individual tutoring to neighborhood elementary children for two hours on Saturdays in Lerner Hall. Tutoring is open to any elementary student and enrollment is not school-specific. A tutor encourage tutees to develop healthy studying habits and assists them in developing the tools required to persevere in their studies and face challenging concepts with confidence.

It’s especially rewarding to work with one kid for the whole year because you get to know them and their families well. My tutee now feels like my younger sister, and she trusts me to be there for her. We have a great relationship.

It’s a great opportunity to reach out to our neighboring community and help those who need it. Working one on one with the same student makes a big difference. It’s more than just about tutoring; it’s also about mentoring and helping someone develop as a person.
