“This summer I worked at Community Impact (CI) redesigning and revamping the Student coordinator Guide.  As a former student coordinator for the Berrie Buddies diabetes education program, I saw the importance of having and up-to-date and accurate tool that could help coordinators run their ever-evolving programs.”

“Working on this project has been a very rewarding experience.  This was my first large scale independent project, where I was solely responsible for the planning, researching, and execution of a final product.  … Thankfully, the CI staff, notably Emily Ford and Katy Saintil, continuously gave me all the creative and intellectual freedom to determine what form the guides would take.”

“This process has reaffirmed my belief in the unequivocal necessity for non-profit organizations, such as Community Impact, who provide extensive services to under served communities.  It has been an eye-opening experience to learn about the successes that are achieved within Community Impact’s programs.   …. The way in which we serve communities must be continually re-examined and improved as the issues, demographics, and technologies change.”
